Cost of Attractions per City Estimate:
London, England
2 nights (begin trip)
June
14
2 nights (end trip)
July
11
|
$100
London is most expensive. A day train pass is
about $12. We will try to limit how many times we get one (probably
twice). |
Paris, France
3 nights
June
16 |
$60
Paris will probably also be expensive. |
Rome, Italy
4 nights
June
20 |
$80
There's a lot of stuff to do in Rome, so I can
see it being expensive. |
Florence, Italy
2 nights
June
24
|
$40
Not sure how much museums cost, but I can see
it being costly. |
Venice, Italy
3 nights
June
26 |
$20
It seems like Venice is a place where you look at the surroundings,
so I don't think we'll do any other attractions. Keep in mind,
though, that we have to pay for travel from hostel, though it
is cheap (probably cheaper than $20). |
Interlaken, Switzerland
2 nights
June
29 |
$0-100+
I'll probably just hike, but they have all sorts of extreme sports
stuff for a cost. |
Gimmelwald, Switzerland
2 nights
July
1 |
$0
It's all hiking. |
Munich, Germany
2 nights
July
3 |
$0
We'll go to Dachau one day, and the other day is pretty much exploring the city. |
Berlin, Germany
3 nights
July
5 |
$40
Not sure how much museums cost. Keep in mind
we need to treat my friend to dinner and also have inner-city transit
costs to pay (which I hear are cheap.) |
Prague, Czech Republic
3 nights
July
8
|
$20
Prague should be cheap no matter what we do. |
Tips
- Always keep backpacks locked to sway off pickpockets.
- Remember to pack light - after packing what you think
you need, take out half of it.
- London is expensive. But there are ways to do it on somewhat of a budget.
- Plaid shirts, shorts, and baseball caps are sure ways to tell you're
an American
tourist.
